Several approaches of planning and designing for people and respectively with people will be introduced and juxtaposed by researchers and professionals out of the academic and professional world of landscape architecture and urban planning. The main focus are the examination of different urban concepts and designs, current integrated planning approaches and participation processes, their theoretical frameworks and linkage to urban planning, landscape and open space concepts.
